Sathya is an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners. Ms. Abirami holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s in Industrial Relations. She is also a certified Montessori teacher. Introduced to Harishree as a parent, she was inspired to take up the Montessori teacher’s training, after observing her daughter work with the Montessori materials. She believes that understanding people is key to healthy interaction and mutual learning. She has been with Harishree for over 11 years and endeavours to create a learning environment of creativity and collaboration. She derives motivation from creating new learning materials based on the Montessori principles and strives to create a platform to share the same with her colleagues.
Pavithra is an enthusiastic, innovative, and analytical Business Studies facilitator. She holds a Master’s in Business Management along with a Postgraduate Diploma in the same field, which strengthens her profound subject knowledge. Her enriching real-world business experience comes from working in corporate settings, where she led teams and collaborated with diverse groups to understand the dynamics of today’s business environment. This practical exposure has further enhanced her decade-long academic journey as an IGCSE, AS and A Level Business Studies facilitator, Cambridge Exams Officer, and Senior Secondary Coordinator. Karunakaran is an enthusiastic learner and a dedicated leader. Basically he is a qualified Sanskrit teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience.He has the skills and growth mindset as a leader and has taken keen interest in our tradition and culture.He is keen in imaging children and inculcating discipline.He is associated with Chettinad education for more than a decade.
Joel Francis is an enthusiastic and energetic teacher and an Alumnus of the Madras Christian College. He has been part of the Harishree family for the past three years. He loves connecting with students, challenging, and guiding their inquisitive minds to explore, discover, and learn through a nurturing and fun environment. He believes Sociology, as a subject is not just based on theories but is a mirror that reflects society with all its complexities and beauty. Joel encourages his students to have an open mind to learn. He is passionate about music, loves photography, organizing events & mentoring young minds.
A painter, illustrator, concept artist and an enthusiastic teacher, Mr. Dhiyaneshwaran holds a master’s degree Fine Arts with over six years of teaching experience and ten years of field experience with two State Awards. He enjoys creating art along with his students and takes pleasure in sharing his knowledge about the history and evolution of art with his students and peers. He encourages his his students to experience art and understand how it can impact their lives.
Charukesi joined Hari Shree in October 2015 and teaches Chemistry to the senior classes. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a Bachelors degree in Education. Interacting with young minds and engaging with students motivate her. Charukesi believes that the effort of a true educator should be towards unlocking the potential in every human being. She promotes the idea of a ‘thinking classroom’ and encourages her students to participate and contribute to the learning.
Ms. Aruna Kalyansundar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s in Human Resources, PGDMM from LIBA. She has rich experience in education, training and development, spanning over 20+ years. Her focus is on building a wide variety of pedagogical methods to suit different types of learners. She strives to make use of creative and innovative techniques while teaching her students. She believes every teacher is also a learner and looks for every opportunity to be more effective.
Mathankumar is a dedicated and ambitious high school Math teacher. He holds a M Phil degree in Math and has more than 14 years of teaching experience. He is committed to create an atmosphere that encourages productive learning of Mathematical concepts. He endeavours to explain complicated Mathematical concepts in an easily understandable manner to keep his students engaged and take them along with him.
Parthiban is an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about providing positive learning experiences for young learners. A postgraduate in Applied Geography and a B.Ed. holder, he has been teaching Geography for 10 years. He strives to create a community of young learners in a positive and fun environment.
Mr. M.Dharani is a master’s in Tamil and is the head of the department. He has over 16 years of rich experience teaching Tamil. He believes in goal-oriented learning and encourages his students to do the same. He encourages his students to converse in Tamil and bring it to life in his classroom.
