Joel Francis is an enthusiastic and energetic teacher and an Alumnus of the Madras Christian College. He has been part of the Harishree family for the past three years. He loves connecting with students, challenging, and guiding their inquisitive minds to explore, discover, and learn through a nurturing and fun environment. He believes Sociology, as a subject is not just based on theories but is a mirror that reflects society with all its complexities and beauty. Joel encourages his students to have an open mind to learn. He is passionate about music, loves photography, organizing events & mentoring young minds.

He enjoys creating art along with his students and takes pleasure in sharing his knowledge about the history and evolution of art with his students and peers. Charukesi joined Hari Shree in October 2015 and teaches Chemistry to the senior classes. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a Bachelors degree in Education. Interacting with young minds and engaging with students motivate her. Charukesi believes that the effort of a true educator should be towards unlocking the potential in every human being. She promotes the idea of a ‘thinking classroom’ and encourages her students to participate and contribute to the learning.
